You're talking a lot, but you're not saying anything
-As if I needed another reason not to eat at McDonald's (other than the fact that the food there makes me ill), it's now running a commercial that basically trashes women as stupid posers. Nice job, assholes.
-McCain/Palin: Not good for women. Not good for healthcare. Full of lies. Could not run a major corporation, according to their own staff.
-McCain: Blackberry helper-outer. Except not. Oh, and even McCain's own cousin thinks he's not the maverick he used to be.
-Palin: Took that quote in her RNC speech about growing good people in small towns from noted racist columnist Westbrook Pegler, who once graphically called for Robert F. Kennedy's assassination. Wow. But you know what? No matter how much I hate Palin's politics, no matter how much I disagree with her on issues (and basic human morals), this shit is SO not OK.
-Regarding the GOP in Michigan trying to disenfranchise voters who've had their homes foreclosed upon, the Obama campaign and the DNC have filed suit in federal court in Michigan to stop it.
-Regarding the Wall Street madness and the AIG bailout, I would just like to point out the utter hypocrisy of an industry which pushes for deregulation because it's oh-so-bad to have governmental oversight of markets, then turns around and accepts federal handouts when trouble (stemming from that same deregulation) hits. If you don't want government regulation, you don't get to take government money to bail you out, you fucking two-faced charlatans. Oh, and the government that bails out multibillion dollar corporations but won't help individual citizens? Yeah, you're doing it wrong, too.

What? You didn't know that the reason you were given breasts was so you didn't have to overtax that silly girlie brain of yours?
This is horrific. When did the pursuit of knowledge, reading, being informed, and intellectual discussion become a waste of time, unacceptable and "elitist" pursuits? Is America getting dumber by the minute? Is that why so many people relate to Caribou Barbie? Because she's non-threatening to what they lack in intellect, curiosity, and imagination? Because she's "just like them": uninformed, jingoistic, and just very "basic"? I'm moving to Europe. can get a decent cup of coffee just about anywhere and have a discussion about politics, philosophy, art with just about anybody. THEY know where Paraguay is!
